About The Position

Techno is seeking a skilled Office Engineer to support our construction management team. This role is responsible for handling project documentation, coordinating submittals, tracking quantities and costs, and supporting field operations from the office. The Office Engineer ensures construction records are accurate, organized, and up to date throughout the duration of the project. Requirements

  • Experience in office engineering or construction administration roles.
  • Strong skills in documentation control and construction recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with construction management systems and software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • NICET Level II, II, or IV is preferred.
  • Previous experience with NJTA projects is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate contractor submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
  • Support field inspectors by organizing daily reports and construction records using the designated project management system.
  • Track quantities and costs for contract items and prepare weekly summary reports.
  • Assist in schedule tracking, change order documentation, and cost updates.
  • Collaborate with the drafting/CAD team to keep plans and as-builts current.
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare relevant technical documentation.
  • Review field reports and testing data to support project compliance and decision-making.
