About The Position

Cornerstone is seeking a System Access/Track Allocation Office Engineer or a Senior Administrative Assistant to be based in Oakland, CA. Job Responsibilities: Assists in planning and organizing operational, administrative, or management studies/projects related to the activities of the assigned department. Assists with problem identification, determining analytical techniques, and selecting information-gathering processes; obtains required information and data for analysis. Under the direction of a manager, analyzes alternatives and makes recommendations regarding areas such as organizational structure, staffing, facilities, equipment, cost analysis, productivity, policy, or procedure modifications. Participates in discussions with management staff; assists with preparation of study conclusions, developing implementation plans, and supporting policy and procedural implementation. Assists in conducting a variety of special projects and/or programs. Maintains awareness of the Integrated Schedule for the project, including design, construction, and all District activities. Interacts with District departments, other transit or governmental agencies, vendors, and external stakeholders depending on the nature of the assigned project. Prepares technical reports, correspondence, and other written materials. May provide direction to clerical support staff on a project or day-to-day basis. Qualifications Minimum Requirement: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required Familiarity with Rail Transit System Access/Track Allocation Preferred Qualifications: 5 years or more experience, preferably on BART project. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel). Strong team player; treats others with respect and is accountable for actions. Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to learn the organizations software, programs, and processes in a timely manner. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to schedule. Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and verbal instructions. Basic knowledge of construction practices and procedures. Proficiency in basic math and computer skills. Knowledge of the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies in an office environment. Work Location: On Site / Oakland, CA Workplace Type : Hybrid, three days a week at office. Salary Range: $85,000 $124,800 YR

Requirements
