About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year. The WJCS Mary J. Blige Women’s Center is seeking an Office Coordinator to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic team dedicated to community transformation. The Office Coordinator will be instrumental in enhancing the center’s operations, fostering partnerships, and creating an inclusive environment that promotes growth, resilience, and hope for all who walk through our doors. The salary for this full-time position is $45,000.

Requirements

  • Proactive, organized, a self-starter, and team player.
  • Adaptable to learning new platforms and skills.
  • Willing and able to travel throughout Westchester County; able to drive from site to site.
  • An excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
  • Experience (minimum of 2 years) in an office or administrative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement of supplies for all MJB programs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct outreach and organize emergency supplies to support clients in need.
  • Collect, organize, and manage donations; ensure proper storage and distribution within the center.
  • Maintain and update the office calendar, schedule room bookings and CRR appointments.
  • Learn and utilize e-Paces for client searches and data management.
  • Acquire proficiency in the Unite Us platform for community resource coordination.
  • Organize and facilitate bi-weekly food pantry distributions to serve community members.
  • Coordinate with cleaning service to schedule regular deep cleanings and maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to develop and implement inter-division programming.
