About The Position

The Office Coordinator is responsible for: Greeting clients, answering client questions regarding appointment schedules, directing them to the appropriate clinician, and completing other administrative tasks as directed. Answering the telephone in a professional, friendly manner and transferring calls to identified staff and/or recording messages as necessary. Maintaining client records, scheduling client appointments, and entering client fiscal/insurance/demographic information into the AVATAR system Collecting co-payments, fees, etc. for services rendered from clients according to clinic policy, accurately documenting all transactions as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Computer experience and familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as receptionist in a healthcare setting preferred.
