When a patient calls to schedule an appointment with the Cancer Genetics Program, you will schedule the appointments, including consultation and follow-up visits as well as take referrals from physicians. You will complete patient check-in and registration, process genetic testing kits and help with sample collection or transportation to/from labs. The coordinator maintains clinic databases, including patient mailings, diagnoses and referring physician information. Work Hours & Expectations This is a per diem position designed to provide flexible coverage for departmental needs, including call-offs, leaves of absence, vacations, and other staffing gaps. Candidates must have availability to pick up shifts Monday–Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with hours varying based on operational needs.
