About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute healthcare facility in St. Louis County is seeking an Office Coordinator for our Cardiac Diagnostic Dept. This role will provide administrative support to the department by performing tasks such as reception, patient scheduling and other clerical tasks. In this role, you will also be trained on how to apply monitors and completing EKG's on patients. Hours: 4 days per week, 10 hour shifts: 6:00am and 4:30 pm 1 rotating day off per week Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The Missouri Baptist Medical Center Cardiac Testing department is a diagnostic testing center which focuses on identifying and evaluating cardiac disease processes. The department is comprised of RNs, cardiac sonographers, ECG techs, Nuclear Medicine technologists and administrative staff. The Cardiac Testing staff works in collaboration with Cardiologists to deliver high quality services to patients and their physicians. Role Purpose Responsible for day-to-day administrative functions of the department(s) as assigned. These functions may include, but not be limited to: business, operations, clerical, patient billing and accounting functions, medical records management, reception, and patient scheduling. May supervise other office personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed.
  • Coordinates and administers all office supplies and materials.
  • Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence.
  • Provides support to office assistants as assigned.
