About The Position

Buffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Program (ECP) Administrative Float to support our team across multiple locations. This role will provide administrative coverage and assistance at our Buffalo, Amherst, Lockport, and Cheektowaga sites. Job Summary: Overall responsibility for management of the ECP office, Administrative assistant to the ECP Director, Principal or Program Manager. Essential Functions: Provides administrative assistance for the Director, Principal or Program Manager including, but not limited to, preparation of correspondence and maintaining appointment schedule. Oversees office procedures and maintains the office operations in an efficient, well-organized and professional manner. Types, copies, and files as needed. Provide coverage for another role, as needed. Secure and track teacher and classroom aide substitutes. Assist Principal or Program Manager with transportation duties, breakfast/lunch program, student attendance, as needed. Copy and distribute IEPs as they are received from districts or through IEP Direct. Responsible for entering student information into tracking software (Claims, IEP Direct, etc.) ensuring accuracy and adherence to IEP. Check accuracy of data entry by staff, verifying session notes against attendance reports. Copy and distribute Quarterly Progress Reports and Annual Review Reports to parents, county representatives, and district chairpersons. Assist with billing, maintain office supplies and equipment. Maintains department inventory and purchase orders. Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma

  • Vision, speech, tactical and hearing senses adequate to perform job requirements.
  • Frequent sitting/ standing.
