This role involves supporting the program's daily operations, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The coordinator works closely with educators, parents, and community partners to promote the success and well-being of children in the program.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, practices, and curriculum development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to early childhood programs.
  • Certification in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Ability to work effectively with children, families, community partners, and a variety of personnel.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of early childhood education programs and activities.
  • Ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate program quality, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities and children's progress.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing updates on their children's development.
  • Manage program resources, including supplies and materials, to ensure efficient use.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to support program goals and initiatives.
