The Smith County District Attorney's Office is looking for a Part Time Office Clerk to help with general clerical duties. The normal business hours are 8am-5pm M-F, and this position requires you to be available for at least 25-29 hours a week. This position is currently open and available to be filled. Please fill out and submit application online. Must be able to work well under pressure, follow directions and help when needed with general clerical duties, and other tasks in the office. This includes, but is not limited to, copying, filing, shredding, answering phones, scanning, data-entry, light cleaning, and stocking. This position also requires that you be physically able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. and be acclimated to the outdoor weather. You must be able to maintain a multi-line phone for a busy office when needed, along with greeting the public that comes in and out of the office. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be dependable, punctual, organized, reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player. Must be able to maintain a courteous and professional attitude with the public and co-workers, both in person and over the phone. High School Graduate or equivalent
