About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support the daily operations of a small home office. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a quiet, office-based environment. This role focuses on mail handling, basic clerical support, and routine administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Comfortable working independently in a small office setting
  • Basic computer skills, including email and simple spreadsheets
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Prepare outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
  • Perform scanning, filing, and data entry
  • Assist with simple document formatting
  • Complete other clerical and administrative duties as needed
