About The Position

Office Assistant/Receptionist Choice Home Warranty is looking for someone who can assist with billing issues for a growing company. This position will assist the executive and senior level managers with general day-to-day billing tasks. Proficiency in Excel, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are essential. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ billing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft excel, power point, word and outlook required
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, work well independently, prioritize duties and follow through tasks to completion

Responsibilities

  • Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Create Invoices and Credit memos to issue to customer
  • Create and maintain customer files
  • Answer questions and handle billing complaints from customers
  • Update accounting records with new payments, balances, and other customer information.
  • Issue monthly customer statements
  • Update customer files with issued invoices
  • Process credit memos
  • Update the customer master file with contact information
  • Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register
