About The Position

Provide support for the Office of Dean including specialized office assistance, coordinating procedural business or service activities for a complex program area involving processing, implementing, advising and/or reporting specialized subject matter. Duties include course scheduling and curriculum input, support for interdisciplinary programs.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years progressively responsible office experience, including direct experience in office coordination, i.e., prioritizing work assignments, maintaining work flow to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to compose correspondence.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with the public, students, faculty and staff.
  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation and ability to utilize proper standard office source manuals.
  • Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position.
  • Experience in clerical accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to perform the functions consistent with intermediate word processing and intermediate spreadsheet applications as demonstrated by a skills assessment.
