About The Position

The Office Administrator ensures smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining an efficient workspace, handling duties like scheduling, supplies, communication (phones/emails), record-keeping, and coordinating meetings or events, acting as the central point for office function and support.

Requirements

  • Strong organization and time management.
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal).
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Problem-solving and proactive approach.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven experience in administration or related roles.

  • associate's degree in business preferred by some

Responsibilities

  • Support NL Leadership Team
  • Order office equipment and furniture as needed
  • Check mail
  • Send any outgoing mail
  • Organize and file as needed
  • Update TV as needed (events, holidays, job openings)
  • Hang up fliers throughout plant / remove after date
  • Order and Inventory Swag (shirts, sweaters, hats etc.)
  • Create welcome bags for oncoming associates (swag / PPE)
  • Order and manage office supplies
  • Shred / file
  • Help with employee events – Buy food, help set up/clean up
  • Welcome Guests, make them check in
  • Ensure Guests have proper PPE before they’re out in the Yard/Plant
  • Clean and set up conference room as needed
  • Order and coordinate lunches for meetings, guests, trainings
  • Pick up lunches if needed
  • Set-up & Clean up for Quarterly meetings in conference room
  • Support EHS with tracking/ordering of safety shoes and prescription safety glasses
  • Maintain communication and status of printers
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, appointments, and travel for staff.
  • Prepare reports, documents, invoices, and maintain filing systems (digital & physical).
  • Assist with office tasks, basic bookkeeping, and support other departments.
  • Oversee general office flow, manage supplies/inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Act as a liaison, handle incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and direct visitors.
