About The Position

Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking an Office Administrator / Executive Assistant to support the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) at the Pentagon providing direct support to Deputy's Innovation Steering Group (DISG) and Defense Innovation Working Group (DIWG) to rapidly evaluate, identify, and execute innovative solutions for key operational problems facing the Joint Force. In this role you will support DIU’s meeting management, meeting execution, and senior leader stakeholder engagement and coordination requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, event management, logistics, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ work experience that demonstrates skills and experience to provide executive level project and program support to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DOD, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents.
  • 2+ years' experience supporting either event planning, providing meeting notes and summaries, developing agenda notes and summarizations.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Prior experience with stakeholder coordination across DoD or other government entities.
  • Familiarity with the Pentagon, DoD organization/structure, and senior leader decision-making.
  • Ability to work on site within core hours, but also as needed by the customer (before 9am or after 5pm).

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Prior experience working with DoD governance forums, meeting management and execution, and senior leader stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working closely at the OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Records Management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.
  • Coordinate meeting sites and logistics, agendas, read-aheads, seating charts, and meeting minutes.
  • Manage SharePoint site access and maintenance.
  • Capture, coordinate, and disseminate meeting summary of conclusions.
  • Use tools and portals that link and integrate authoritative data sources for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on senior decision making.
  • Work closely with the OSD Executive Secretary to manage senior level meetings.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and their front office staffs across OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, and Service components.
