Help Shape the Future of Robotics We are looking for paid participants to record videos of everyday office and home activities at our Menlo Park office. These videos will be used to help robotics to learn how to perceive, understand and interact with real-world environments. You will record yourself doing things you already do in your daily life, such as cleaning, laundry or cooking. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable performing everyday physical tasks and excited to contribute to cutting-edge robotics research, we’d love to work with you! What to Expect This is a short-term, home and office-based research participation opportunity. Sessions will be structured and you will be expected to follow simple guidance instructions. No robotics or technical background is required. Day In the Life During your session, you will: Wear your phone on a head mount (this will be provided for you), or the provided Insta360 GO 3S, or Meta Quest headset. Film the assigned tasks in the worksheet Ensure successful recordings, before uploading the files to a cloud drive for submission You are free to film as much task-specific, high quality and usable footage as you want, making this a great way to earn some extra income whilst completing your already day-to-day tasks. Example Tasks Picking up, placing, and organizing objects Sorting items by size, color, or category Using simple tools (e.g., screwdriver, cloth, utensils) Cleaning or wiping surfaces Assembling or disassembling simple objects Reaching and placing objects at varying distances
