About The Position

The offal attendant / wastewater support is responsible for monitoring, cleaning, and sanitizing the offal processing area and minor maintenance of the wastewater system to ensure proper waste & water processing before discharge. This role is critical in preventing contamination and ensuring environmental compliance. The position involves hands-on fieldwork, equipment monitoring, cleaning, and operational support within the offal and wastewater areas. The position partners with maintenance & reports to the 1st Processing supervisor w/ primary work schedule of M-F, 8-hrs. on 2nd shift, with flexibility to work early/ late shift, overtime, and weekends, as needed

  • Able to lift / move up to 50 lbs. when required
  • perform repetitive cleaning & operational tasks
  • Work for heights to access elevated equipment
  • stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, stoop for extended periods
  • Work safely in hot, cold, wet environment w/ varying temperatures (e.g., 35-40 / 100 degrees) & distinct odor
  • Use required PPE including gloves, boots, eye protection, and other protective equipment as necessary.
