About the position

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Sales professional to actively manage and grow a portfolio, driving Harris and OEM strategic initiatives. The role involves building key relationships throughout each organization to increase sales by enhancing Harris's wallet share among core products, including Brazing & Soldering consumables, Copper, Aluminum Fabricated Parts, and Gas Equipment. The position is based in Mason and is a full-time salaried role.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve targets set for revenue, profit and sales growth
  • Actively manage and grow existing $15+ Million portfolio
  • Manage end user accounts (direct or through distribution)
  • Responsible for retention and growth of existing business; acquisition/expansion into new products or new solutions
  • Develop & manage strategic business relationships in all accounts within portfolio at a corporate level and across various local sites
  • Build and deliver the Harris Value Proposition to accounts within portfolio
  • Provide end-user training support and promote all Harris products with a special focus on Braze Training and Gas Apparatus Safety
  • Continuing to develop skills needed to lead complex business negotiations
  • Works with cross-functional internal team for new product or service solutions for end users within portfolio
  • Collaborate with other team members to grow and acquire new business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering strongly preferred; ten years industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Harris Products Group Technical Sales Representative or similar Harris Products Group or Lincoln Electric position (Internal Only)
  • Above-average sales performance over the last three + years
  • Self-motivated, aggressive, and strong record of making principal based business decisions with the ability to work independently
  • Continuing to build knowledge of financials, products/services, the market or account needs
  • Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of two weeks per month
  • Ability & willingness to travel throughout North America
