About The Position

Nightwing is seeking an experienced and cleared OCONUS UE Team Lead near the Warrenton area. The Team Lead is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, managing and executing all work being delivered to the Customer as defined in the contract scope of work as allocated to the appropriate task area. The Team Lead reports to the Task Area Lead and is responsible for directly supporting the Customer and meeting the reporting and requirements of the task area. Provides management level program leadership and administrative support for a mission focused area. Coordinates daily with the Customer, program leadership and assigned resources. Duties include: Travels and mentor’s junior and/or new resources. Assures labor charging is compliant and in line with contract and customer policy. Maintains project schedule(s) on Customer system. Ensures resources maintain Customer training and ensures refresher training is scheduled during traveler CONUS time. Ensures the tracking of all office personnel travel / whereabouts – location, dates, planned jobs, cable concurrences / shipments prior to travel, receipt, surveys, trip reports, follow-up etc. Ensures that contract team members enter and update their assigned tasks in the Customer project tracking database Ensures the tracking of all office personnel certifications, training and credentials (passports, CAC cards, visas and other documentation required for travel) Records all office personnel contact info and keeps current records (monthly updates) for accuracy. Assists in “bottom up” monthly EACs to most accurately project program costs. Acts as the primary point of contact to the Customer/Task Area Lead for all contract technical, cost and scheduling within the assigned task Area Ensures, monitors and communicates the security constraints of planned project(s) and ensures that reports are strictly adhered to. Ensures that all work performed is of the highest quality and meets the standards of the Customer needs within funding, timing and staffing constraints. Supports ad hoc briefings and technical discussions and prepare meeting minutes, notes, and briefing materials as directed by the Customer. Ensures all contractors work together as a team and in support of Customer mission. Provides monthly task area highlights for the Customer and contract PMRs to Task Area Lead.

Requirements

  • Minimum of at least one Trades License in HVAC/Electrical, other.
  • Prior experience in a managerial role with mission-focused deliverables which required significant understanding of OCONUS travel.
  • Knowledge of facilities / engineering / trade skills as it relates to Customer unique environments
  • Experience with OCONUS Travel and overseas assignments and unique/austere environments.
  • Ability to address specific management practices of Customer needs, vendor capabilities, operational activities and project timelines when planning and executing facilities/O&M projects.
  • Must have strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Must be responsive to Customer needs; identify risk and provide mitigation strategies as they arise
  • Must be able to provide program management, appropriate direction and leadership to a diverse team of staff /contractors.
  • Must know how to prepare and respond to cable traffic, coordinate/facilitate travel arrangements and be the focal point for facilities and maintenance requirements and deliverables.
  • Must have experience providing day-to-day management of program activities including tracking labor, cost, schedules and security issues/requirements.
  • Experience facilitating communication between Customer, engineers and end users.
  • Technical and programmatic documentation writing skills
  • Proficient with the Microsoft suite applications
  • 8+ years Professional Experience
  • Bachelors Degree or Vocational Certificate Equivalent Experience may be Substituted for Educational Requirement
  • Must have TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one of employment and must be eligible for crossover.
