SURTASS OCONUS Operations
About The Position
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. The OCONUS Operations Manager will support the SURTASS Operations Manager and FST Manager in the execution of day-to-day operations and shall: Assist managing the staffing, qualifying, training, operations, and organizational and intermediate level maintenance execution of the O&M crews and SURTASS mission systems. Execute the contractor Operations, Maintenance, and Training IMS. Oversee the execution of organizational and intermediate level maintenance. Conduct periodic audits, inspections, and reviews of operations, maintenance, and associated reports. This position will not involve corporate operations work and interface, as the SURTASS Operations Manager shall be solely focused on crew support to the government. Generate reports for SURTASS mission systems status as directed by the Government.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or 10 years' relevant field experience and DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ten years of documented experience in managing technical teams executing operations and maintenance on Navy C4I systems and/or acoustic intelligence gathering systems
- Ten years' experience managing personnel
