About The Position

Lynch Consultants is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and in-depth capabilities by supporting numerous workstreams on an OCIO Advisory support contract. This individual will focus on technical domains including Acquisitions, SDLC lifecycle management, Portfolio and Program Management, IT Budgeting, and critical decision facilitation. Work Location and Schedule: This position is a part-time role and consists of a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days/week on-site in Rockville, MD. The other 2-3 days/week are remote. Salary Range: Up to $65 an hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Requirements

  • MUST be a U.S. Citizen
  • MUST have a BA/BS degree
  • MUST have at least 7 years of Federal Consulting experience.
  • MUST have an active Public Trust clearance
  • MUST be located in the D.C. Metropolitan region

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred to have a background supporting Federal OCIOs
  • Preferred to have experience with the SDLC and/or EPLC

Responsibilities

  • Analyze departmental and Presidential Appointee submissions to provide status updates on OCIO-requested procurements.
  • Prepare procurement packages for review at both Presidential Appointee and departmental levels.
  • Support task order evaluations and assist with meeting coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and review of acquisition documentation and processes, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with meeting administration, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Assist with system user access and administrative tasks
  • Assist with coordination and administrative support for review meetings
  • Assist with updating SOPs using provided content
  • Assist with preparation of monthly reports
