About The Position

Alan Biller and Associates is seeking a highly motivated OCIO Solutions Associate to join our Menlo Park team to work on our growing and dynamic OCIO business. We expect our team to primarily work remotely, with occasional trips to the office for training and meetings.

Requirements

  • Degree in English, Business or related preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience, preferably in finance.
  • Familiarity with private investment documents (e.g., PPMs, LPAs, Side Letters).
  • Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a small team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and MS Planner.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Backstop CRM a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and discuss investment-related contracts and documents (e.g., private equity, private credit) internally and with client legal counsel.
  • Assist in the preparation and of client investment documents.
  • Track and disseminate information on new investments and fund details to the client team.
  • Collaborate with external client service providers, including legal counsel, investment managers, administrators, and custodians.
  • Manage client projects across all functions of our firm’s business, including with our consulting, research, and investment operations groups.
  • Review invoices for accuracy, log and process expense reimbursements.
