About The Position
Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team at Bethany at Pacific, located inside Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA. This therapist-owned company manages therapy operations independently, advocating for its clinicians and valuing strong clinical judgment. They offer a stable environment with low management turnover, strong corporate involvement, and personalized support, protecting therapists from unrealistic facility pressure. The role is suitable for new graduates seeking strong mentorship and experienced OTs looking for autonomy and a sustainable caseload. New therapists receive comprehensive onboarding, 1:1 training for documentation and evaluations, customized clinical training, and ongoing mentorship.
Requirements
- Current Washington State OT license in good standing
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
- Ability to supervise a COTA
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
- Transfer training (all levels)
- Fall prevention and safety training
- Treatment of clinically complex patients
- Discharge planning and care coordination
- Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
- Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff
