Occupational Therapist- Everett at Pacific
About The Position
Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team at Bethany at Pacific, located inside Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA. This role is suitable for both new graduates seeking strong mentorship and experienced OTs looking for autonomy and a sustainable caseload. Independence Rehab is a small, therapist-owned company that independently manages therapy operations, prioritizing clinical judgment and advocating for its clinicians. New therapists receive strong integration, 1:1 training for documentation and evaluations, customized clinical training, and ongoing mentorship and competency support.
Requirements
- Current Washington State OT license in good standing
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
- Ability to supervise a COTA
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Treat a geriatric population across SNF and Transitional Care
- Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
- Transfer training (all levels)
- Fall prevention and safety training
- Treatment of clinically complex patients
- Discharge planning and care coordination
- Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
- Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff
