Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Westwood Manor SNF – San Marcos, TX Diamond Rehab Diamond Rehab is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility, Cypress Healthcare and Rehab , in San Marcos, Texas. Requirements

Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
Successful completion of the NBCOT examination
Current or eligible for Louisiana state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
New graduates are welcome to apply (must graduate within six months of hire)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Empathy, patience, and a patient-centered approach
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Physical stamina to assist and support patients during therapy sessions

Responsibilities

Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations assessing physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team
Implement therapeutic interventions and adaptive techniques to improve daily living skills
Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies to promote independence
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
