About The Position
Independence Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our therapy team at Cascades at South Ogden in South Ogden, UT. This is a great opportunity for therapists looking for flexibility, whether you're supplementing your current schedule or prefer a more as-needed role. You'll have the ability to pick up hours based on your availability, with potential opportunities across nearby facilities as well. As an Occupational Therapist in the skilled nursing setting, you'll work with a geriatric population focused on restoring function and improving daily living. Requirements
- Active Utah Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Strong interest in working with the geriatric population
- Organized, dependable, and patient-focused
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
- Treating a medically complex geriatric population
- Performing and assisting with all levels of transfers
- Collaborating with PT, SLP, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supporting safe discharge planning and care transitions
