Occupational Therapist (O.T) Full-time Here’s What You Need · Bachelor's Degree Completion of an Occupational Therapy program Required. · No Experience required – new grads are welcome! · Prefer experience with adult population, acute care hospital-based, inpatient experience. · OT - Occupational Therapist Texas Occupational Therapy License Upon Hire Required And · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly R equired. · Good verbal and written communication skills in English. · Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others. · Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills. What You Will Do · Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care. · Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. · Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment. · Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines. · Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel · Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients. Worth, TX 76104 · Therapy Services Work hours\: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8\:00AM-4\:30PM; Weekends\: 1 weekend day per quarter; Holidays\: 1 holiday per year (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4 th , Labor Day, New Years Day) and rotational basis of less than once every 10 years to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas day.
