Here’s What You Need Bachelor's Degree Completion of an Occupational Therapy program is required 2 years of experience in inpatient/acute care is strongly preferred. OT - Occupational Therapist Texas Occupational Therapy License Upon Hire is required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Problem solving ability; Ability to teach others; Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills. What You Will Do Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific needs Motivates non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and to meet personal developmental needs As required, participates appropriately in departmental safety drills / emergency procedures Documents and reports unusual occurrences, on the job injuries, and medical device malfunctioning Additional perks of being a Texas Health Occupational Therapist Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Completion of an Occupational Therapy program is required
