About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll hone your skills and specialize in areas like Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
  • Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
  • Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
