PediaPlex is a collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center providing ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding support to children and families across the DFW area. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) who is passionate about supporting children’s development and building functional independence. The OT is responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering individualized, evidence-based services to pediatric clients in clinic and community-based settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independent treatment planning, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams in a supportive, mission-driven environment!

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapy License in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between clinic locations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized plans of care based on clinical judgment and progress
  • Provide direct OT services in clinic and/or community-based settings
  • Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, play, and daily living skills
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence and functional participation
  • Adapt therapeutic activities based on child response, progress, and environment
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and timelines
  • Maintain compliant electronic records including evaluations, progress reports, and discharges
  • Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support skill carryover and treatment goals
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, clinic locations, and service delivery needs, including travel as required
