The work environment includes a large gym and private treatment rooms. This position involves assessing clients/patients/residents and designing pediatric occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform life tasks. The therapist conducts evaluations and provides interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments, specifically evaluating physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of pediatric clients (0-18 y/o) to develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate programs.
