About The Position
Make a difference every day as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) at Avamere! Join our in-house therapy team in Tigard, Oregon, and help residents regain independence, improve function, and achieve their therapy goals in a supportive, patient-centered environment. 84-bed SNF with both LTC and Short-term Rehab Large rehab gym with a nice sized kitchen and private office space. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active Oregon OT license, unencumbered.
- CPR certification.
- Professionalism, strong communication, and passion for patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy per state licensure.
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, set goals, and educate families.
- Supervise COTAs, rehab aides, and students as applicable.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with professional standards.
- Participate in department development and quality initiatives.
