About The Position
AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fresno, CA. This 6-month contract offers stability, collaboration, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ daily lives.
Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Nice To Haves
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new grads welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance functional mobility, ADLs, and cognitive/physical skills
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
- Accurately document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence
