Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate and effective occupational therapy treatments under OT supervision
  • Implement individualized therapy plans focused on mobility, strength, and ADL performance
  • Support residents in regaining independence and achieving personal goals
  • Track progress and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
  • Educate residents and families on safe techniques to enhance daily functioning and independence
  • Collaborate closely with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to team planning, problem-solving, and goal setting
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards in all therapy services
