Requirements

Minimum Education High School or equivalent required.
Requires: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
DATIA Certified Professional Collector, and Lifeloc Certified Breath Alcohol Technician or certified in twelve (12) months after hire date.
Two (2) or more years’ experience in Drug testing or as a medical technician desired, knowledge of drug screening rules and regulations desirable.
The Occupational Health Technician should have the ability to work with culturally diverse population.
Maintain accurate medical records.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.
Preferred knowledge of Occupation Health or related field

Responsibilities

Perform Drug Screens both in clinic and on-site settings.
Perform Breath and Alcohol Test in clinic and on-site settings
Demonstrate competency in department specific technical skills
Maintain required certification
Prepare the patient for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
Stock and Clean examination rooms.
Maintain inventory of supplies.
Prepare and maintain accurate medical records.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population specific needs of the patients served.
