Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Clinton, NC Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: April 10, 2026 – April 27, 2026 Coverage Type: Call Only Shifts needed to be filled: – April 10 (8a) – April 13 (8a) – April 24 (8a) – April 27 (8a) Call Schedule: 24 -hour beeper call Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 20 minutes Patient Demographics: Obstetric and Gynecology patients Patient Volume: Average 1–3 deliveries per 24 hours; ~27 deliveries/month, Average 11 C -sections/month Admissions: Yes Rounding included: Yes Support Staff: , Nursing staff Specialty Backup: Hospitalist support, anesthesia (24/7), radiology, Skills/Procedures: –Low risk Pregnancy – Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries - Low forceps – Vaginal and C -section deliveries – C -sections, VBACs, breech, multiple gestations, abruptions – Decision -making for C -section – Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations – Amniocentesis – OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) – NST/CST/FSE interpretation – Minor and operative gynecologic procedures – Surgical gynecology - Open – Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation – Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's – Laser certification Beds in the Dept: 14 postpartum beds; 3 labor rooms EMR: Meditech 6.1 Other Info: – Level I nursery only; no NICU Temporary Privileges available: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered: Yes
