About The Position
Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Santa Cruz, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Initial 3 -month Coverage Type: Clinic only Shift Schedule: M–F; 8a – 5p (1 -hour lunch) Patient Demographics: Mostly low -risk, underserved populations; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day % of Practice: 100% Outpatient Clinic Support Staff: -Full -time ultrasonographer (30+ years’ experience); -2 RNs managing diabetic patients and NSTs Specialty Backup:Perinatologists/neonatologists EMR: Cerner Other Info: -Bilingual providers strongly preferred. -Recent or current laborist experience required (clinic -focused background preferred). -Local Bay Area candidates preferred. -NICU Level III access through partnership with other facility Hospital Privileges required: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active CA license
- BC in OB/GYN
- Completion of ACGME -accredited OB/GYN residency
- Active CA DEA
- BLS, & ACLS
- Clean malpractice ( Self -Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation)
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Bilingual providers strongly preferred.
- Recent or current laborist experience required (clinic -focused background preferred).
- Local Bay Area candidates preferred.
