About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 500+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (OB-GYN) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a significantly underserved community. This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking a more rural style of practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice. The clinic, in a new medical office building and the Birkeland Maternity Center (a 20-bed LDR unit with a spa-like feel and atmosphere) are both located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a newly built 100 bed community hospital supported by a strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers. Schedule: Traditional workweek plus call and hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends. Minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week plus rounding and call.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited obstetrics & gynecology residency program
Board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) - or obtain certification within 3 years of employment
Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
