About The Position

No prior experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain all cabanas and VIP seating; ensure they are clean, neat and organized Provide efficient food and beverage service to VIP seating and cabana customers Serve alcoholic beverages while maintaining legal age requirements Be available and accessible to guests for the majority of their visit Knowledge of all menu items, alcoholic beverage and specials Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in an efficient and timely manner Effective selling and ability to upsell products Follow opening and closing procedures in assigned outlet to maintain cleanliness standards Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines Receive payment by cash, credit cards, EZ-Pay, or vouchers Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts and credit cards Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and employees Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark Follow park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment Ability to accept guidance, constructive criticism and supervision Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership Ability to count money and make change Ability to operate a computer and software programs Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Demands Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 50 pounds individually and more than 50 pounds as part of a team lift. We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
