Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: OBGYN NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Pendleton, OR • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shifts needed to be filled: - Mar 1-13, 23-31 - Apr 1-8, 18-30 - May 1-13, 22-31 - Jun 1-7, 17-30 - Jul 1-13, 22-30 - Aug 1-7, 18-31 - Sep 1-13, 23-30 - Oct 1-9, 19-31 - Nov & Dec (tbd) • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p - 10 shifts/month • Call Schedule: Nights & Weekends - 1 week/month • Support Staff: MA & RN (OP); RN (IP) • Procedures: Assist with C Section with OBGYN • EMR: - Meditech (IP) - Centricity (Birth Center) - Eclinical (OP) • Duties: - Provides care for all females ages - IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal - Prenatal care including routine OB checks and management of normal pregnancies - Natural deliveries and emergency deliveries, in collaboration with the on-call physician - Postpartum care and patient education - Routine reproductive health care, including pelvic exams and Pap tests • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active OR License
- BC
- DEA
- BLS, ACLS, NPR
- NPDB Report
- No new grads or home birth only midwives
- Must have experience working as midwife in hospital
Responsibilities
- Provides care for all females ages
- IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Prenatal care including routine OB checks and management of normal pregnancies
- Natural deliveries and emergency deliveries, in collaboration with the on-call physician
