This is an exciting opportunity to play an essential role in supporting mothers, babies, and families during one of life’s most special moments. As an OB Tech, you’ll collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive birthing experience. You’ll provide both technical and patient care support in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings—helping our patients feel cared for every step of the way. Sentara Obici Hospital , a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility, is located on Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk, VA. Requirements

Nursing diploma OR Surgical Technologist diploma
Licensed Practical Nurse OR Certified Surgical Technologist
1 year of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Assist with labor and delivery procedures and provide technical support to the clinical team.
Prepare, set up, and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments for deliveries and C-sections.
Support patients and families with compassion and professionalism.
Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for patient care at all times.
Work collaboratively with nurses and providers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
Assist with patient admissions, vital signs, and general unit duties as needed.
