About The Position
Joining our Lake Regional Health System team means working alongside our knowledgeable, dedicated team of people who care for our patients and one another. Lake Regional Health System is seeking a dedicated, professional OB-Tech to join our Family Birth Center/Labor & Delivery to provide personalized, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Previous patient care tech experience is required, preferably in OB/Peds paired with scrub tech experience preferred.
- Education requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
- An annual influenza vaccination is required.

Responsibilities
- Performs tasks to ensure orderliness, cleanliness, and maintenance of patient rooms, staff areas, and the support systems of the OB department.
- Care for the patient, including bath/shower, oral hygiene, back rub, skincare, breast, and perennial care, diapering, sitz bath, feeding, positioning, repositioning, lifting, transfers, and ambulating.
- Exhibits working knowledge of aseptic techniques; set up the table, instruments, and supplies needed for vaginal delivery and/or surgical procedure.
