About The Position

A single specialty group near Fort Myers, FL, is seeking another associate to join their collegial environment, working alongside two Ob/Gyn's and a Nurse Practitioner. The role encompasses a wide scope of inpatient and outpatient OB and GYN procedures, including Urodynamics. While a DaVinci robotic system is available for GYN procedures for those interested, its use is not a requirement. The physician can expect to see 80-90 patients per week and perform 1-2 surgeries per day. The practice call schedule is 1:3, and hospital ER call is 1:7. The office operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, is equipped with all necessary equipment, and is conveniently located near the hospital. The hospital services over 120,000 residents and features a comprehensive heart center, cardiopulmonary rehab, a Level II NICU, a center for neurosciences, a cancer center, and a women’s pavilion. The surrounding area offers top-rated public and private schools, various special events, water and outdoor activities, shopping, dining, and other amenities typical of a growing community.

Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Nice To Haves

Interest in using the DaVinci robotic system for GYN procedures

Responsibilities
