Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a well-trained BE/BC OB/GYN physician to join our established, high-volume practice in the growing community of Suffolk, Virginia. The candidate will be supported by an experience team of OB/GYN physicians and APPs who prioritize collaborate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including preventive care, prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum care.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions, including reproductive health, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and menopause-related concerns.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as pelvic exams, Pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, and contraceptive management.
  • Conduct surgical procedures, including cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and other gynecologic surgeries as clinically indicated.
  • Manage patient care in both ambulatory and hospital settings with a focus on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with WHNPs, CNMs, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR (eCW/Epic).
  • Participate in call rotation and provide after-hours or emergent OB/GYN care as needed.
  • Provide patient education on reproductive health, family planning, pregnancy, and preventive care.
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory standards while contributing to a positive and professional practice environment.
