About The Position

Ob/Gyn Physician Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Mt. Auburn Hospital The Harvard Medical Faculty Physician group at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking to expand our team with a full-time Obstetrician-Gynecologist. This position is integral to our multidisciplinary care team that provides compassionate, personalized care to patients in all stages of life within a culture of collaboration and collegiality. The Department has been recognized as a high-performing hospital for maternity care by US News and World Report in 2025. We perform approximately 2500 births annually in a collaborative care model with our CNM colleagues. The labor/delivery and postpartum units are located on the same hospital floor, overlooking the Charles River. There are onsite, full-time anesthesiologists for labor/delivery and neonatologists to care for neonates in our Level IIB NICU. Additionally, our department includes onsite maternal fetal medicine physicians, minimally invasive surgeons, urogynecologists, and Laborists who assist with labor/delivery call shifts. We provide full-spectrum reproductive care in outpatient community locations with strong clinical and administrative practice management support. Our OBGYN physicians have protected block time in the operating room for gynecologic surgeries. Candidates will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package. The physician selected for this role will be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School commensurate with their experience and qualifications. Pay Range: $202,500 - $235,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
