About The Position

Sutter Health seeks to hire a BE/BC Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team in Lakeport, CA.

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum management

Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions, perform routine exams, screenings, and preventive care

Perform surgical and procedural interventions, including cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries, as indicated

Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality, patient‑centered care

Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with clinical, regulatory, and quality standards

Sutter Lakeside Hospital is nestled in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County and is a 25-bed critical access hospital. The critical access designation by the federal government ensures access to healthcare services for residents of rural communities. Requirements

• Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Other: Successful completion of a medical residency program.
• Other: Successful completion of a medical internship program.
• 5 years recent relevant experience preferred
• MD-Doctor of Medicine Upon Hire OR DO-Doctor of Osteopathy of California Upon Hire
• CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) Upon Hire
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
• Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialty Upon Hire
