Position Summary The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join its Women’s Health team in a moonlighting capacity . Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for or active Connecticut medical licensure
- Ability to work independently in an inpatient OB/GYN setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage on a moonlighting basis
- Manage labor and delivery patients, including triage and inpatient care
- Perform gynecologic evaluations and manage acute OB/GYN presentations
- Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, anesthesiology, and neonatal teams
- Respond to OB/GYN consults and emergencies as scheduled
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
- Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives
