About The Position

This is a preferred position and a panel style interview will be conducted. To qualify for an interview you must fill out a COMPLETE application. Any applications not completed in FULL and properly submitted will disqualify you from eligibility for interview. This position will close to all applicants on February 8th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.. Anticipated interviews to take place by March 8th, 2026. This position is Full time FTE: 1.0 (80 hrs/per pay) 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m Three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is required (please show this on your application). Assesses, educates, and manages the blood glucose levels and diabetes medications of patients referred to the Diabetes during Pregnancy Program. Follows the standards set forth by the Michigan Department of Community Health and the American Diabetes Association. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to Hurley's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy. Receives clinical direction from the Program Director for Maternal/Fetal Medicine and the Medical Director of the Hurley Diabetes Center. Nursing supervision received from the Director for Women's Health Services. Serves as a resource to nursing personnel, resident staff, and other health professionals throughout the Medical Center and surrounding communities.
