Requirements

• PA or NP
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

• Full-time position with a 4 day work week (7:30-5:00pm)
• Approximately 20 patients/day
• Provide routine OB checks (non-high-risk) and general gynecological care, including pap smears
• Position will work at UnityPoint Clinic's Methodist outpatient clinic
• Join an established, five campus team of OB/GYN's, Advanced Practitioners, and a midwife team
• Established practice delivering at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Methodist West Hospital
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
