About The Position

The O365 Administrator will manage, support, and optimize our GCC High Microsoft 365 environment in support of the FAA BNATCS contract. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of O365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related productivity tools. The O365 Administrator will collaborate with IT leadership and end-users to deliver seamless communication, collaboration, and productivity solutions across the organization. This position is contingent upon Peraton award of the contract.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's and 5 Years of Experience, Masters and 3 YoE, or PhD with experience administering Microsoft 365/O365 GCC High environments or similar relevent experience. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major.
  • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD).
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust is a requirement for this role
  • Although this is a remote role, you must reside in the DC/MD/VA local area.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent are a plus.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Office 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and groups.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for O365-related issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and usage metrics.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Assist with site creation, permissions management, and collaboration workflows.
  • Enable integrations with third-party applications where appropriate.
  • Implement and enforce O365 security policies, including MFA, conditional access, and data loss prevention.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts within the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Support migration projects (e.g., from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on O365 tools and features.
  • Develop knowledge base articles and self-service resources.
