About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Nutrition Support Dietitian in Johnson City, TN! This role is located at Johnson City Medical Center, a 445-bed acute care Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital, and will specifically cover trauma (surgical) nutrition support. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
